This is from a conference talk given to substance abuse treatment providers about the "trifecta" of issues many women veterans face. Eating disorders, addictions and trauma cripple many of our Sister Warriors.
This is NOT an easy read.

Feel good story
Part of my job is I will believe in you until you can believe in yourself. If I didn't care, I would not be able to do this job.
Several of you have heard me say: I am here to walk beside you. Not behind you and push, not ahead of you and pulling.
This story hit a nerve for me and I hope you enjoy it as well.

WHVRP JOB CLUB ... Homework for 04.17.2013
SO, for WHVRP Job Club this week, I want to review some of the things I learned at the Incight Job Fair. And, just so you can feel prepared and I am going to give you some things to think about until then.
- What is the worst interview blooper? Could you have said it differently?
- Worst dressed at an interview (this example I will share from an employer).
- Does it matter what format of resume you use? (Two groups of employers weigh in on this one).

Beaverton School District
"ED Zapp" is the recruiting software many school districts utilize to find potential employees.
This morning, I checked the postings by the Beaverton School District and found several "interesting" postings. If you are seeking either immediate, part time/on call work, summer positions in building maintenance, or fulltime positions ... this might be the place to look. Most public schools are easily accessible by public transit so that worry can be set aside.
Try looking here.
