I am aware, some veterans would like to work for a governmental agency because of benefits and transfer of military time to their retirement accounts. And, other veterans might have other reasons.

The current posting of available positions is here. They have ten positions posted currently but it changes often. The other thing: all applications are completed electronically.
If you apply for a position with the City of Portland, give me a heads up so I can have your application materials reviewed. PLEASE remember to include your military service some place on your application. All veterans must be interviewed if they meet the minimum requirements ... federal requirement.
