position summary:

The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry is seeking a part-time Membership Services Representative who will provide customer service of the highest quality to OMSI’s Members through on-site service in the Membership Window, as well as provide support in all aspects of membership sales and fulfillment.
These positions requires, but not limited to, good organizational skills, good customer service skills, strong communication skills, both written and oral, accurate cash-handling and record-keeping skills, ability to respond to visitor’s inquiries in articulate manner, and demonstrated proficiency in timely and accurate data entry.

Salary / Pay Rate:
|
$9.34 to $11.21 per hour

Required Skills and Abilities:

Qualifications:
|
REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience. • High School diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education. • Working knowledge of sales. • Basic Database and Microsoft Windows experience PREFERENCES: • Patron’s Edge/Raiser’s Edge software experience. • Familiarity with cultural institutions/attractions/performance venues front-of-house operations • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education. • Bilingual - Spanish/English • Experience working with volunteers.
